VSHS students will choose a 2011 Homecoming King and Queen from among these candidates this week.
The Vinton Shellsburgh High School student body met in a short assembly at the end of the school day to learn who the candidates for King and Queen are this year.
Because of a tie, there are 11 finalists in the Queen voting and the traditional 10 candidates for King.
Queen candidates are: Maddie Springer, Emma Horst, Natasha Becker, Tess Noeller, Elle Osborn, Annie Meyer, Brinkley Gerber, Kelly Wagner, Julie Nicole Cox, Kristin Henderson and Claire Riffey.
King candidates include: Jake Milroy, Nolan Edwards, Kyle McAbee, Charlie Betterton, Jake Stodola, Alex Springer, Matt DeVries, Gunner Tranel, John Levis, Lincoln Riffey.
