VS student Beth Sauer enters Miss Teen Iowa contest

Vinton-Shellsburg student Beth Sauer, the daughter of Pete and Michele Sauer, will spend next weekend in Newton, competing in the Miss Teen Iowa Pageant.

At school, Beth has been involved with basketball, softball, track, dance team, cheer-leading, youth group and choir. She also works part-time at Betterton Family Chiropractic.

Beth's sponsors include Feiereisen, Inc., Ketchen, Inc., New Beginnings, Dr. Doug Hanneman, Clingman Pharmacy, Shaping You, Movies N More, Betterton Chiropractic, Jeff Peterson and Denny and Pat Powers.

The pageant competitions take place at Newton High School on Saturday and Sunday. See a complete schedule HERE
