News : Dear Santa Program coming to Vinton

Vinton Unlimited is partnering with the Dear Santa Program to provide essentials for families in need this Christmas season.

You will find two flyers along in a PDF format that you can download and hang up or pass along. The first flyer is geared toward those who may need a little extra help this Winter to provide for their family.

Your kids are invited to write a letter to Santa and drop it off during the Holiday Open House THIS WEEKEND on November 20th. Santa will be present with Mrs. Claus, Elves, and yes, REAL reindeer from 1pm - 4pm at the Benton County Courthouse. So, if you need a little extra help with the essentials this Christmas season, then please bring your kids and their letters to Santa on Sunday afternoon at the Benton County Courthouse!

The second letter is a letter requesting action to help those in need this Christmas season. Santa will not only be at the Courthouse to collect letters, but he will also be meeting families who are interested in helping out a family in need this Christmas Season through the Dear Santa Program. If you or your family would like to adopt one of the families in need and provide for their needs this season, please feel free to show up at the courthouse and take a name of someone in need. Everyone who chooses to help a family in need will be entered into a drawing to have Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Elves, and his reindeer stop by your home on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day! So, help a family in need and adopt a family this Christmas season!
