Vinton-Shellsburg Service Unit 620 held Nibblefest this past weekend in the Shellsburg school cafeteria. Each troop that participated selected a country, learned about the country and then presented their information along with nibbles of food popular in that country. Among the countries chosen were China , France , Norway , Jamaica and Italy .

Nibblefest is celebrated as part of the annual Girl Scout World Thinking Day that was first celebrated in 1927. Girl Scouts all over the world use the day to think of their sister Girl Scouts and learn about other countries.

LK February 21, 2012, 10:04 am Takes me back a lot of years when the Girl Scouts filled the basement of Wesley Church doing the same activity in the early 90\'s. Lots of great memories were made with that great group of girls. I\'m glad that there are women willing to continue leading Girl Scouts.
