4th Street Diner HACAP North Benton Center 202 East Fourth St Vinton, IA 52349 319-472-4761 Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. On Monday, March 22nd, there were four tables of Pepper Cards played. Burdell Staab won 1st place with 305 points. Milton Smith took 2nd place with 294 points. Bernadine Barr won 3rd place with 263 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club. On Tuesday, March 23rd, the Don Anders Band provided the afternoon entertainment. On Wednesday, March 10th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Fern Lewis handpicked the games of the day. Four corners and frame the free spot was chosen for game one and won by Fern Lewis. Game two was Wild Number 3 and was won by Ruth Wieditz. Game three was a Flag and was won by Marge Goodell. Game four was 2 Hard Ways with Fern Lewis winning that one. Game five was Blackout and won by Norma Ellis and Ruth Wieditz. On Thursday, March 25th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The Bingo games of the day were handpicked by JoAnn Roster. Game one was a Slant 7 and was won by Mae Kerkman. Game two was Letter L with Dora Vogt winning. Game three was Frame the Card with Beverly Stein winning. Game four was a Wild Number Game 3 Bingos with Greta Geiken and Mae Kerkman winning. Bingo ended with Blackout and Greta Geiken winning. On Friday, March 12th, there were 8 tables of 500 played. Pauline Schminke won 1st place with 3,440 points. Angie Nolda won 2nd place with 3,420 points. Marjorie Foster won 3rd place with 3,160 points. Pauline Schminke brought brownies to share. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by card club. On Monday, March 29th, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards played. Bernadine Barr won 1st place with 241 points. Merle Roths won 2nd place with 220 points. Frances Kelly won third place with 217 points. Refreshments were provided by the card club and HACAP provided beverages. On Tuesday, March 30th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. Beverly Stein handpicked the Bingo games. Game one was a Baseball with Fern Lewis winning. Game two was Stairsteps with Dale Alpers winning. Game three was Crazy T with Zella Alpers winning. Frame the Free Spot was game four and JoAnn Roster won. Bingo ended with Blackout and Norma Elliis winning. On Wednesday, March 31st, we welcomed back Don and Mae Wilhelmi. The activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. Game one was Top Row Bottom Row with Bernice Jones winning. Game two was a Plus Sign with Elsie Knaack and Greta Geiken winning. Wild Number 3 Bingos was game three with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game four was Slant 7 with Greta Geiken. Elsie Knaack won Blackout on game five. On Thursday, April 1st, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. On Friday, April 2nd, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Fern Lewis won 1st place with 3,090 points. Nellie Cobb won 2nd place with 2,890 points. Marge Smith won 3rd place with 2,740 points. Refreshments were provided by Card Club and HACAP furnished beverages. Wed.
