The Pack 47 Cub Scouts held their annual Pine Wood Derby Saturday morning at the Vinton-Shellsburg High School.

Christopher Fleming had the fastest car among the Tigers. The Wolf winner was Brayden Stainbrook. Hunter Hillman won among the Bears and Cody Young was the Webelo winner.

The car design honorees included:

Best Design: Conner Hicok

Most Original: Graham Henkle. 

Best Paint: John McNeill

Judges' Choice: Eli Powers. 

Scout Owen Novotny and his dad Jeremy participated in the Bobcat initation ceremony in between races.
