Mrs. Petersen, middle school principal, announced Paige Stodola, 8th grade, as the winner of the Viking Spirit Award this year. Paige's willingness to help others, and hard work throughout the year earned her this award. Mrs. Jodi Bierschenk recognized Stephen Schmidt, 8th grade, with the Jazz Award for the 2012 school year. Kendra Peterson was awarded the outstanding 8th grade band student Director's Award.
