News : Tribute to parents: Butterfly art at library to honor Don & Sharon Haefner

Steve Haefner sets up a butterfly bench at the library in honor of his parents, Don and Sharon.

The display includes a bench and two tall metal butterfly sculptures.

Sharon Haefner loves butterflies. Her yard on 9th Avenue in Vinton contains a large metal butterfly, along with many flowers designed to attract the real ones.

As a tribut to his parents, Sharon and Don, Steve Haefner is creating a butterly bench and display outside the Vinton library. He installed the bench on Friday.
