News : VSHS Public Speaking students make speeches at Vinton library

Kyle Duliin spoke about using farm use fuel in semis during harvest season.

Sara Jorgensen argued for allowing high school athletes to be eligible for waivers from PE class.

The three spoke at the Vinton Public Library on Friday morning, as part of Mr. Eric Upmeyer's Public Speaking class. The teacher thought it would be a good experience to have the students present their persuasive speeches in a public setting, rather than the classroom.

The public is invited to hear the rest of the speeches on Monday and Tuesday, from 9:15 to 10 a.m. in the lower level of the library.
