Benton County Supervisors Dave Vermedahl and Ron Buch were first elected to office together in 2000. Today, they will participate in their final meeting before retiring. A reception for Vermedahl and Buch will take place from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27.

The two will participate in a brief meeting at 1:45 p.m. in the supervisors' chambers; the last meeting of 2012, as well as the last of their careers.

The swearing-in of the elected officials, including new supervisors Terry Hertle and Don Frese, will be Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8:30 a.m.
