It's a tradition required by law that every January after an election, the county officials who were elected to their offices, along with their deputies, are officially sworn in to begin their terms during the first couple days of January.

Auditor Jill Marlow, supervisors Terry Hertle and Don Frese, and Sheriff Randy Forsyth were elected in November. All of them, along with the deputies of the Sheriff's Office and the Auditor's Office, met in the courtroom for the official swearing-in ceremony.

Judge Van Zimmer administered the Oath of Office to the supervisors, and then to the Auditor's and Sheriff's Office personnel, Wednesday morning.
