The weather can, in fact, put a damper on your golf game -- even if you play inside.

Some of the people who set up courses for the VU Miini-Masters golf event say the low turn-out on Thursday was probably the result of the cold rain that fell much of the day.

Golfers, however, have dry weather for today and no rain in the Saturday forecast.

This year's event includes some new participants, including the Vinton-Shellsburg High School, New Beginnings, and La Reyna Mexican Restaurant.
