Congratulations to everyone in the Vinton-Shellsburg High School Speech Department who participated in the State Individual Events Speech Contest held at the school last Saturday. Six people earned Division I ratings and three people earned a Division II rating. Those earning I ratings included: Jacob Bunge, Bailey Lyons, Stephanie Berry, Emma Lippmann, Riley Ries and Alyssa Cantrell.

We also want to thank all the volunteers, the Band Boosters and the great workers from Americorps for helping with the event.
