News : Seats still available for Jazz Championship pep bus April 18

There are still a few seats left on the pep bus going to jazz champs. This takes place next Thus, April 18, in Des Moines.

Our very own VSHS Jazz Band won our Districts in order to compete at State, beating the Independence Jazz band who has won Districts for the past several years. VSHS jazz band performs at 10:30 Thurs. morning. The cost of the pep bus is $5 per person. This does NOT include admission to the competition. Anyone interested in riding the bus, please contact Band Booster President, Nancy Jorgensen at 319-721-6978. The bus will leave the West Middle school parking lot at 8:00 a.m. and be back in Vinton by 3:00 p.m.
