News : VS FFA members participate in District Ag Mechanics event

On Thursday May 2, 2013, six Vinton Shellsburg FFA members participated in District Ag Mechanics at NICC in Calmar. These members worked on electrical configurations, had to problem solve a mechanical error message, take a general knowledge exam, and work on parts of a combine. Cole Emrich, Kyle Henkle and Bastian Primmer placed 7th as a team out of about seventeen teams competing. CJ Fowler, Brandon Tharp and Garrett Wilson also competed. Overall the guys had a fun night and did well!
