Mary Naeve
VINTON: Mary Naeve, 89, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton.
To honor her wishes there will be no services.
Mary was born, June 30, 1924 in Somers, the daughter of Edna and Everett Adamson. She graduated from Somers High School and received her nursing degree in 1946 from Iowa Lutheran in Des Moines. She worked as a registered nurse at Lutheran/Trinity Hospital in Fort Dodge for thirty-eight years.
She married George Naeve, October 20, 1946 at Somers Methodist Church. They lived in Moorland, until George's death in 1995. Mary moved to Vinton in June 1995.
Mary is survived by her children, Regina (Ken) Huelman, Vinton; Alvin (Carla) Naeve, Garden City, KS; four grandchildren, Andrea (Mike) Naillon, Monica (Terry) Zaruba, Sandra Naeve and Randall (Robin) Naeve; four great grandchildren; her sister, Bonnie (R.E.) Williams, Odessa, TX; and two nephews, Steven and Michael Williams and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
