Robert R. 'Bobby' Geiger

VINTON:

Robert R. "Bobby" Geiger, 55, of Dyersville and formerly of Vinton, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St. in Vinton with Rev. Mark Leckband officiating. Committal Services will be held at the Garrison Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home in Vinton. A Memorial Fund has been established.

Robert was born August 23, 1958 in Vinton to Robert Earl and Judith Ann (Grau) Geiger.

On February 11, 1979 he was united in marriage to Jackie Martin at Garrison.

He owned a Heavy Equipment Construction Business.

Surviving "Bobby" are his wife, Jackie Geiger of Dyersville; his mother, Judy Pfranger of Texas; his grandma, Josephine Geiger of Vinton; his daughter, Bobbie Jo (Aaron) Hansen of St. Peters, MO; his son, Andy (Ashley) Geiger of Farley; and his brothers, James Geiger of Dandridge, Tennessee, and Mike (Jodi) Geiger of Vinton.

He was preceded in death by his "hero", dad, Robert in 1986 and his grandpas, Warren and Hank.
