VINTON: Zachary Tyler Druger, 23 died unexpectedly Thursday, January 15, 2015 at his home in Davenport. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton with Rev. Dr. Judith Bunyi officiating and Pastor Mike Ferguson will assist. Friends may register from 9 AM until service time on Thursday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Hospitality House in Waterloo.

Zachary was born March 16, 1991 in Denver, Colorado to Raymond Druger and Angela Huber. He was a 2009 graduate of Vinton Shellsburg High School in Vinton. Zachary worked for the Salvation Army in Davenport. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton. Zachary enjoyed working at the Hospitality House in Waterloo, the Salvation Army Programs and was an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan. In his leisure he loved spending time outdoors and playing the trumpet and guitar.

Zachary is survived by his father, Raymond “Chuck” (Maggie) Druger of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Angie (Rod) Moore of Vinton; four sisters, Haley (Derek) Wardenburg of Cedar Rapids, Lexi Druger of Cedar Rapids, Wendy Moore of Forest City and Teresa McKinstry of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Dane Moore of Vinton, Jason Zielske of Forest City and Patrick McKinstry of Cedar Rapids; two paternal grandmothers, Hazel Druger and Ovidia Willingham of Cedar Rapids; maternal great grandmother, Jean Nunemaker of Marion; his grandfather, Tim Huber of Hiawatha; grandparents, Dave and Garland Moore of Oelwein and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Druger and maternal grandmother, Carol Huber.
