CEDAR RAPIDS:
Diane "Dee Dee" Allyn Himmelsbach of Urbana and formerly of Cedar Rapids passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Dennis & Donna Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.
A Celebration Of Life will be held, Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Gilligan's Pub, 912 1st Ave NW in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, Garret (Jonie)Thompson, her daughter, Kim Fifield all of Cedar Rapids; her sister, Cathy Hansel of Urbana; many nieces and nephews; and her feline friends, Jake and Mav, that made her smile.
She was preceded in death by her paretns; and her special friend, Kevin Garin
"Dee Dee" was bon July 7, 1960 to Clarence and Nancy (Aten) Fifield. She attended Jefferson High School and then worked at Sammy's Lounge and Geaters Log Cabin. She loved all animals and canned vegetables every year.
Her family thanks Hospice of Mercy for making her life easier when she was with us.
