Darlene Bridge

Darlene Patricia Bridge, of Cedar Rapids and formerly of Vinton, died Sunday, July 30, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.
She was born December 12, 1930 at Calmar to Joseph and Myrtle (Belonga) Yirkovsky and graduated from high school in Calmar.
On February 22, 1955 she married Wayne A. Bridge at Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton. The couple farmed together on the Horace Thompson farm for over twenty-eight years. Darlene had been an active member of the Vinton community belonging to several organizations.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Wayne A. Bridge of Cedar Rapids; her daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Doug Robison of Vinton; her granddaughter, Kelly (Rupert) Robison of Vinton and great grandson, Reece; her grandson, Cody (Jenna) Robison of New York City; two sisters; several nieces and nephews; and her wonderful dog, Carter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
