URBANA:     Pearl “Ivan” Evens, 75, died Sunday, September 20, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

     A celebration of Ivan’s life will be held at a later date.  A Memorial Fund has been established.

     Ivan was born April 29, 1940 to Pearl Irving “Pie” and Mary (Zahn) Evens.  He worked as an over-the-road trucker for a number of trucking firms and was an avid Hawkeye fan.

     He is survived by his children; Tammy Kaske and spouse Roxane Bouquot of Rockford, IL, Kimberly (Allan) Borum of Loves Park, IL, and Brian (Laurie) Evens of Belvidere, IL; his daughter-in-law Andrea Evens; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his mother Mary Evens of Urbana; 5 sisters, Doris Pugh of Springville, Evelyn (Don) Donley of Center Point, Betty Thompson of Cartledge, IL, Rose Anderson of Shellsburg and Anna Seebach of Urbana; 2 brothers, David (Pam) Evens and Gene Evens, all of Cedar Rapids and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his father “Pie” one son Pearl Irving “P.J.” Evens and his brother Burl in infancy.
