Obituaries : Sally June Tatge

LUZERNE: Sally June Tatge was born on June 18, 1943, to Hubert and Vera Clevenger (Meeks) in Pierceton, Indiana. After graduating with the Pierceton High School Class of 1961, she married Robert Marsh, an Army soldier, and lived in several beautiful places including Germany, Hawaii, Colorado, and California. Her two daughters, Roberta Greathouse and Cindy Marsh, still reside in California. Sally met the love of her life, Keith Earl Tatge, while working in the moving industry.

Sally and Keith married on June 11, 1989, and spent several years traveling the country before choosing Kingman, Arizona, as their permanent home. Sally was very proud of, and adored her family, including step-daughter Jill, step-son Brian, son-in-law Robert, and her only grandchild Kaitlin Greathouse. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald Clevenger. Sally's Miniature Schnauzers were her second love. Despite being very ill for a long time, Sally maintained a positive attitude and enjoyed her relationships with friends and family.

Sally passed away on December 19, 2015, after a long illness. Her soul mate, Keith, joined her just 9 days later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Joan & Diana Hospice House, 812 Airway Avenue, Kingman, AZ 86409. Memorial Services will be held April 23, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. at the Lutheran Cemetery, Luzerne, Iowa. A luncheon will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Luzerne Fire Station.
