Obituaries : Kenneth Edward “Ken” Neve

Kenneth Edward “Ken” Neve, age 55, passed away June 25, 2016 in North Platte, NE.

Ken was born August 7, 1960 in Vinton, Iowa to Wayne and Rosie (Warner) Neve.

He moved to Colorado to attend college. Ken worked as a Mobility Instructor for the State of Colorado for 29 years. He was a member of the Cherry Hills Christian Community Church. Ken enjoyed the outdoors, including biking and walking. He enjoyed working out and was a personal trainer. He loved spending time with family and was a devoted family man. He will be remembered as a happy go lucky man who made everyone’s day brighter.

Survivors include his wife, Deseire Neve of Colorado; sons Travis Neve and Dylan Neve; stepdaughter Nicole Sandoval (Tanner Pickett); and stepson A.J. Makowka; dad Wayne Neve; brother Doug (Becky) Neve; sister Cindy (Doug) Haefner; nephews Drew (Heather) Haefner and Brian (Michelle) Neve; nieces Kristen (Christian) Klein and Casey Neve.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Neve, and a brother, Denny Neve.

Services will be 11am July 5, 2016 at the Cherry Hills Christian Community Church, 3900 Grace Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 with the Reverend Mike Anderson officiating. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte, NE is in charge of local arrangements.
