Obituaries : Perry D. Cook

ELK RUN HEIGHTS – Perry Dennis Cook, 73, died Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following a lingering illness.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
Perry was born April 22, 1943, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the son of Perry and Marjorie Peterson Cook. He graduated from Hickory High School in Meadville.
Perry was a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He owned his own practice in Meadville, PA.
On March 4, 1973, Perry was united in marriage with Donna Kelley in Florida.
He was a member of Unity Church in Edinboro, PA, and was also an active Mason and Shriner. He enjoyed drag racing.
Perry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Cook, of Elk Run Heights, IA; two sons, Perry and Danny (Karlene) Cook, both of the Quad Cities; one brother, Bryan Cook, of Moline, IL; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
