Stephanie M. Ollinger-Harry, age 31, of Stevens Point, died October 1, 2016 in Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Stephanie was born August 29, 1985 to Mark & Lynda (White) Ollinger in Vinton, IA. She grew up there and helped her dad on the family farm while attending the local schools. While attending high school, Stephanie enjoyed rallying the Wrestling & Football team as a cheerleader. She also enjoyed remaining very active 4-H volunteer. She graduated from Washington High School in the Vinton-Shellsburg school district in 2004.
She studied Veterinary Science at Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids, IA. Although Stephanie worked as a Vet Tech, her real calling was in Radio. She won a scholarship to study to be a Radio DJ at Brown College in Minneapolis, MN. Following school, Stephanie shared her love of music with listeners in Minneapolis, MN; Madison, WI; Waterloo, IA; and most recently in the Wausau and Stevens Point, WI area.
Stephanie married the love of her life, John Harry, September 19, 2014 in Madison, WI.
Stephanie will be remembered for her radiant smile, infectious laugh, passion for music, and love for friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, cooking, attending live concerts, and adored being in the company of her husband while having a few beers.
She is survived by her husband, John Harry of Stevens Point; brother, Matthew (Morgan) Ollinger of Garrison, IA; nephew, Benjamin; mother, Lynda Ollinger of Cedar Rapids, IA; father-in-law, Paul (Sarah) Harry of Maple Grove, MN; and mother-in-law, Jean (Karl) Stadstad of Morristown, AZ. She is further survived by sister-in-law, Jenny (John) Huerd of Maple Grove, MN; sister-in-law, Ellie Harry of Maple Grove, MN; brother-in-law, Riley Mcfarland of Maple Grove, MN; brother-in-law, Jarad Mulder of Brooklyn Park, MN; and best friend, Lauren (Bobby) Udell of Cedar Rapids, IA.
She is preceded in death by father, Mark; and sister-in-law, Catherine.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Boston Funeral Home. A Time of Sharing Memories will also be held on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
