Ed Krezek
CLUTIER: Ed Krezek, 82, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo following a brief illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone, officiated by Jerry Shannon. Interment will be held at Oneida Cemetery near Clutier. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 PM on Friday.
Ed was born April 20, 1928 at Clutier to Edward and Helen (Koontz) Krezek and graduated from the Clutier High School in 1945. From 1947 to 1948 he served his nation in the US Army.
On January 24, 1951 he married Ellen Havran at Belle Plaine. Ed farmed in the Clutier area and was a member of a Polka Club.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; his children, Ed (Cindy) Krezek of Waterloo, and Kathy (David) Larson, and Sue (Daniel) Sherman, all of Marengo; his grandchildren, Lindsey Krezek, Ryan Harrison, and Nicholas Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Kelcey and Paul Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Bobbie.
