Squig was born at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, IA on February 11, 1977, to Devona “Bugs” and Roger Fisher. Enduring the heartbreak of loss are her children, Elicia, Blake, and Marquis Fisher, Senicka Hardy and her grandson, Kai Delacruz; parents and their spouses, Brett Haskin of Onamia, MN and Lynn Fisher of Vinton, IA; brother, Jeremy “Jake” Fisher, who Squig always claimed to be perfect, his wife Crystal; “Granny” Emma Thomas, grandmother, Nadine Fisher all from Vinton, IA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that she dearly loved.
Jericho had a lifelong love affair with Mt Dew, bean and bacon soup right out of the can, but in her heart, nothing compared to her mom’s cheeseburgers served with home-made mac-n-cheese!! Always larger than life Squig, as a child, wanted to be a boy and easily kept up with big brother Jake and her rowdy cousins Donny Fisher, BJ Fisher, and Bart Bruce. She adored her aunt Rhonda (Fisher) McClung and her cousin Cody Bruce. Uppermost in her heart was her uncle Bob Fisher. She loved asking him to make her an egg knowing he would always say, “poof, you’re an egg!”.
To hear/share more escapades enjoyed with Jericho “Squig”, please join her family at 3 PM on November 3, 2018, in Dysart, IA at the Community Building. Family friend, Jackie Obrosk will be officiating the casual service. Luncheon will be provided by Obrosk Catering. Everyone is also invited to attend social hour at Bottoms Up in Dysart, IA to reminisce and enjoy each other's company before parting and going their separate ways. Squig loved it when friends and family would get together for good times.
The family requests no flowers or plants. Condolences can be mailed to: B. Haskin, P.O. Box 725, Onamia, MN 56359
