Obituaries : LLOYDENE 'DEANIE' SMOCK 

Lloydene "Deanie" Smock was born June 10, 1953, to Lloyd and Maxine Stern. She and Bret Smock were united in marriage on May 7, 1983, in Vinton. Deanie passed in her sleep on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Bret; children, Ty (Brenda) Deppe and Dionne (Mike) Emanuel; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Becky (Wayne) Weisbrod. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rick Deppe, her parents, one brother and three sisters. Memorials may be made to the family and sent to 723 Commercial St., La Porte City, IA 5065.
