William R. Thompson, 80, of Oakwood, Texas, died Thursday, Dec 9. He was born in Vinton Nov. 11, 1930, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948. He married Janet Weir of Mt Auburn.
Survivors include his wife and four children. Services were set for Monday, Dec 20, in Fairfield, Texas.
