Robert "Bob" "Grizzly" Dewayne Majavec, 71, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away suddenly at his home, Monday, November 9, 2020.

Robert was born January 24, 1949 the son of George and Ethel (Jordan) Ulicney in Oskaloosa, IA. He graduated from Deep River Millersburg High School the class of 1967. Following High School, he joined the United States Air Force. When Bob returned home from the Air Force, he lived around the Belle Plaine area where he worked construction and was a farm hand for many years.

Bob enjoyed socializing, watching Gun Smoke and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his friend and mother of his children, Diane Drievold of Cedar Rapids, children, Angela Dunkel of Decatur, AL, George Majavec of Cedar Rapids, Jennifer Majavec of Cedar Rapids, Bobby Joe Cooper of Cedar Rapids; brother, Gary (Evie) Majavec of Grand River, IA; step-children, Penny VanSlyke of Cedar Rapids, Donald Messerschmitt Jr. of Box Elder, MT; friend, Randy Thompson of Belle Plaine; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
