Barbara Elsie (Wolf) Phelps, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton with her family by her side.
Private family graveside services will be held at Bear Creek Cemetery, rural Vinton.
Barbara was born on August 14, 1945, the daughter of Vertus and Anna Belle (Nessler) Wolf. She graduated from Garrison High School. On November of 1965, she was united in marriage to Danny Phelps Sr. in Vinton. He preceded Barbara in death in 2003.
Barbara's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Danny Phelps Jr. of Vinton, Diana Miller and her friend Ken Shuffield, of Cameron, TX, Debbie Phelps, of Vinton; three grandchildren, Ricky, Cory, and Amber; and her sister Idamae (Wes) Stanek of Independence.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Danny Phelps Sr.; brother Dewey Wolf; and sister Sharen Stueck.
