Obituaries : Keith E. Slusher

Keith E. Slusher, 61, formerly of Marco Island, FL, died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids following a brief illness.

Keith was born July 9, 1959 at Kokomo, Indiana to Harold and Emilie (Zell) Slusher. He lived most of his life in Marco Island, FL., where he owned and operated his carpet cleaning business, "Sparkle Cleaning". After moving to Anamosa in 2011, he worked in the restoration and construction industries. He moved to Vinton in 2018.

He was avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching Hawkeye football and basketball, but his greatest joy was being a "Papaw".

Keith is survived by his children, Jenni (Brent) Flickinger of Garrison and Riley Eric Slusher of Carriere, MS; his mother, Emilie Slusher of Walton, IN; and his sister, Diane Muchetti of Fern Park, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold in 2012, and his grandson Banks Flickinger in 2017.
