Constance Lee Turner, 89, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully at Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 1 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Constance was born March 17, 1932, to John and Myrna (Brown) Scholeman in Cedar Rapids. She married the love of her life, Leo Turner Jr. She spent many years working as a librarian and a receptionist.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, bird watching and watching Westerns. She cherished the time spent with her family.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; her son, Thomas Turner; and her brother, John Scholeman Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Pam (Robert) Sipple; children, Michael Turner, Amy (Kirk) Davis, Nancy Bremer and Michele Turner; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
