Gage Allen Robinson-Emerson

Gage Allen Robinson-Emerson, age 3 months, the son of Dawn Smith and Thomas Emerson, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Gage was born with a heart defect and survived open heart surgery on November 22, 2010, and got to come home on February 9, 2011. He loved his swaddler and his binky and had a loud voice. Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids by Rev. Jim Blair. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Also surviving are his brother, Devin Robinson; grandparents, Lydia Johnson of Vinton, David and Michelle Johnson of Michigan, Susan and Brian Robinson of Garrison, Cindy Kay Emerson, and George and Christy Smith of North Carolina; of Cedar Rapids; great-grandparents, Jean Heitzmen of Virginia and Mary Robinson of Ohio; six uncles; seven aunts; and six cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Pettit; and his great-grandparents, Donavon and Eyrlis Bremer.
