Ryan Noe, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 26, 2021, while doing farm work near Vinton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Vinton Presbyterian Church. A visitation will be held from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton.
Ryan was born January 21, 1972, in Waterloo, to Richard and Kathi (Kendrick) Noe. He graduated from Washington High School in Vinton with the class of 1990. Ryan was united in marriage to Amy Johnson on August 26, 1995 at the Vinton Presbyterian Church.
Ryan was involved in agriculture his entire life. He drove truck following high school and worked at Titan Machinery for several years before beginning to farm full time. He truly loved farming and was generous with his time, always willing to help others. Ryan enjoyed anything mechanical, especially snowmobiling and 4-wheeling with friends and family. Every family outing included trips through car and implement dealers parking lots, whether he was in the market or not. His love for his wife and kids were obvious to everyone. He worked hard to provide a great life for his family, and he did! His laugh and sense of humor will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Ryan is survived by his wife Amy; his children, Erica, Elizabeth, and Austin, all at home in Garrison; his parents Richard (Teresa) Noe of Garrison, and Kathi (Gene) Dontje of Cedar Rapids; mother-in-law Sandy Johnson of Vinton; brothers, Steve (Lorie) Noe of Madison, AL, Mark (Kimberly) Noe of Vinton; step-sister Donna Frater of Colorado Springs; step-brother, Robert (Jillian) Frater of Anamosa; 2 sisters-in-law, Diane (Jeff) Kenney, and Jeanne Johnson, all of Vinton. Nieces and nephews: Justin (Melana) and Jennifer Noe: Noelle and Chandler (Holli) Noe: Rebekah Meyers, Hannah Hartman and Josh Shafar: DeLaney and Hadley Frater: Karley and Cassie Kenney: Daisy (Michael), Kort and Charlee Johnson.
He will be lovingly reunited in heaven with his daughter Ashley; father-in-law Dennis Johnson; brother-in-law Steve Johnson and Grandma Kay and Grandpa Bob Kendrick.
