Dalton Isaac Wild, 21, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics due to complications from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by Certified Celebrant Dr. James Coyle. A visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, from 2 to 5 p,m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include his mother, Kelly Houser of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; father, Lance Wild of Ottumwa, Iowa; sisters, Andrea and Bryana Bartels, both of Bakersfield, Mo., brother, Landon Houser of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; siblings, Jalyn, Jayce and Jaxon Plummer, all of Norway, Iowa; grandparents, John and Susan Houser of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Deb Wild of Bakersfield, Mo., and Larry Wild of Kentucky. girlfriend, Trinity Hanson of Cedar Rapids; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to name.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joani Houser; and great-grandparents, Jack Fennern and Ralph and Ida Mae Houser and Frank and Jean Nunemaker
Dalton was born Sept. 15, 2000, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Kelly Houser and Lance Wild. Dalton graduated in 2018 from Prairie High School and he was employed by ACP, Inc. in Cedar Rapids. His passions in life included riding his motorcycle with the CR Goon Skwad, going mudding in his Jeep, watching movies, playing XBox with his brother Landon, sketching and spending time with family and friends. Dalton had a big heart and was there for any friend in need, whether it be working on a car or bike or simply giving someone a place to crash for the night.
