Kenneth Stanley Bryant, 85, of Camdenton, Mo., formerly of Vinton, Iowa, died Saturday, June 11, 2022, at home. There will be a family graveside service at Garrison Cemetery in Iowa.
Ken was born Jan. 14, 1937, to Ralph and Abigail Bryant. He graduated from Woodward High School in 1955 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He served four years based in Alabama, Texas and Labrador. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Hartman on May 13, 1956, in Woodward, Iowa.
Ken was an Iowa farm boy and played fullback on the high school football team. He worked many years for Penn Dixie as a cement salesman and later served the same customers as a cement chemical sales manager. He looked forward to big game hunting every fall out West. He was known for his homemade ice cream and his Chevy trucks. Ken was dependable and loved his family very much.
Ken is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marilyn Bryant of Camdenton, Mo.; daughters, Kris (Scott) Netolicky of Washington, Iowa, and Jill (Semu) Semau of Camdenton, Mo.; son, Stan (Jill) Bryant of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Brian Netolicky, Beth (Jason) Hoerr, David Netolicky, Josh (Chloe) Semau, Jonathan Semau, Hannah Bryant and Nathan Bryant; and great-grandchildren, Micah, Xavier, Eliza and Veda Hoerr, and Natalie Netolicky.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amelia Semau; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Bryant; granddaughter-in-law, Angie Netolicky; parents, Ralph and Abigail Bryant, three brothers, Raymond (Donna) Bryant, Bernard (Nancy) Bryant and Donald (Georgia) Bryant; and sister, Virginia (George) Trondson.
