Shaun M Hesson, 42 of Marion, IA passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Shaun was born on August 18, 1980, to Craig and Rose Hesson of Cedar Rapids. Shaun spent much of his life in Shellsburg and Cedar Rapids and graduated from Washington High School in Vinton. Shaun was employed by Paul Revere's Pizza in Cedar Rapids. Shaun loved spending time with his family and friends. He has a nephew Shaun, of who he was very proud. Shaun had so many special friends in his life. He loved reading & vacations.
Shaun is survived by his mother Rose Hesson, sister Tammy Hesson & nephew Shaun Hesson. He had a special bond with his mom's puppy Lexi. Uncles and Aunts Gary (Kaye) Bonesteel, Kevin (Deb) Hesson; Diane Hesson; Karen (Steve) Helms; Dana (Tom) Lane; and many special cousins. Special friends Michelle and Emma.
He was preceded in death by father Crag Hesson, grandparents Keith & Maribelle Hesson, and LeVern & Thelma Bonesteel and cousin Nathan Hesson.
A celebration of life will be held this summer.
A memorial fund has been established at Palo Savings Bank under Shaun Hesson.
