Obituaries : Chris “Zippy” Lynn Lippincott

Chris "Zippy" Lynn Lippincott, 60, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away January 23, 2023 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.

Chris was born December 7, 1962 in Marengo, IA to Charles Harvey and Sylvia E. (Wilson) Lippincott. In his youth he moved with his family to Buffalo, MO and eventually back to Belle Plaine where he attend Belle Plaine High School.

Chris worked on Motorcycles which he learned from his older brother, Jeff. He later did injection molding in Kalona, IA.

Chris enjoyed working on cars and he loved spending time with his dog, Coonie and his mom.

He is survived by his siblings, Dennis (Sandee) Lippincott of Harlingen, TX, Linda Scott of Ocala, FL, Dana Knapp of Iowa City, Carol (Chuck) Elliott of Athens, TN, and Connie (John) Gates of Belle Plaine.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Charles A. Lippincott, Sharon (John) Jacobi, and Jeffrey (Mary) Lippincott.

Private family burial will take place at Brooklyn Cemetery, Brooklyn, IA.
