Gerald "Jerry" Laughridge, 63, passed Feb. 3, 2023, with loving family by his side.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father and mother (Orville, Arlene); and brothers and sisters (Les, Dale, Jack, Jim, Carol). He is survived by siblings (Pat, Karen, Steve, Larry); children (Josh, Kaisha, Allyson) and grandchildren (Kaydance, Anlon, Alexya, Brynna, Camyla, Drayden, Emmalin, Elayna).

Jerry was born Jan. 4, 1960, in Vinton, Iowa. He was an outstanding boxer throughout his childhood and young adult life, amassing many state and national accolades. He worked primarily as a tuck pointer and was considered a jack of all trades. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars, motorcycles, as well as spending time with family and friends and overall having a good time.

There will be a get-together for family and friends to remember Jerry held at Riverside Park in Vinton, Iowa, at 11 a.m. Aug. 19, 2023.
