Obituaries : Richard A Wilmot

Richard A Wilmot, 82, of Vinton, formerly of Clarksville, Iowa passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, from complications due to Alzheimer's. A fire at the Bar Manor Condominium complex in Vinton on July 28, 2023 permanently displaced him from his home. The fire triggered rapidly increasing Alzheimer's symptoms & decline requiring 24 hour supervision. He passed with his daughters at his side, after four days of hospitalization.
A Celebration of Life & Memorial is planned for October 7th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Clarksville, Iowa.
Family will greet guests starting at 11:00 with services at 12:30.
