Obituaries : Linda L (Parcel) Janss Eichler

Linda L (Parcel) Janss Eichler, 76 of Belle Plaine, IA passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. 

Linda was born April 20, 1947 to Edward and Betty (Holland) Parcel in Belle Plaine, IA. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School. On December 6, 1963 Linda Married Bernd (Jack Janss) Eichler. Linda was a stay-at-home mother until the kids were grown. She then worked at the Belle Plaine Care Center for 13 years. Together Linda and Jack began Ultra Clean Cleaning Company, while Linda also worked for the Belle Plaine School System. 

Linda enjoyed knitting, and crochet. She loved to bake and cook especially for family get togethers. Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Edward (Laura) Janss of Belle Plaine, Tina (Gary) Deemer of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Brea (Kevin) Upah of Belle Plaine, Melissa (Trevor) Hawkins of Fort Madison, Ryan (Taylor) Janss of Belle Plaine, Chantel (Joe) Kolash of Victor; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Bryce, Chase, Joe, Wrenley, Sophia and two on the way. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernd (Jack Janss) Eichler; sister, Connie Horrigan Rolfe. 

Linda and Bernd will be reunited together as they are laid to rest with a private family graveside at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.neuhausfuneralservice.com.
