Brett Thomas Stauffer, 27, of Davenport, IA passed away, June 22, 2024.

Brett was born October 8, 1996 to David A. and Monica L. (Harken) Stauffer in Ida Grove, IA. Moving to Belle Plaine with his family, Brett graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 2015. Continuing his education in the Diesel Tech Program at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa.

Brett worked for the Blairstown Dairy Farm while attending college. Following school, he moved to Bennett, IA and worked at the World's Largest Truck Stop in Walcott, IA until moving to Davenport where he worked for Sadler Power Train Truck Parts and Services for the last few years.

Brett was a gun enthusiast, enjoying history of guns and target shooting. He liked online gaming and anime. He loved watching dirt track races with his dad and doing demo derbies. When someone needed help, he would be the first one to say "Alright, where do you need me and how can I help."

He is survived by his father, David of Belle Plaine; sister, Richelle (Nathan) Taylor of Brooklyn; niece, Samara; nephew, Zayden; grandmothers, JoAnn Harken of Algona and Frances Stauffer of Pocahontas; uncle, Keith (Carla) Stauffer of Gilmore City; aunt, Mynet (Bruce) Anderson of Trimont, MN; and girlfriend, Elizabeth Arnold and her daughter Ellie of Rock Island, IL.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Monica; grandfathers, Gary Harken and Dennis Stauffer; uncles, Larry Stauffer and Monte Harken.

Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine, IA. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.neuhausfuneralservice.com.
