Loren Walter Pippert, 81, of Elberon, IA passed away July 1, 2024 at his home.

Loren was born September 8, 1942 to Walter and Cinderella (Sell) Pippert in Waterloo, IA. Growing up in Dysart he attended Dysart Community School. Loren served his country with the U.S. Army in Germany for four years. Upon his return home he married Jerrine Johnson on June 24, 1968 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Keystone, IA. Raising their 3 children on their farm near Elberon they worked side-by-side milking cows. Eventually Loren began selling cows and began over the road trucking for many companies until retiring from Bridgewater Trucking of Blairstown, IA. Loren and Jerrine cherished their time together traveling the country while he drove truck.

Loren enjoyed fishing, camping and attending the Old Threshers Reunion.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jerrine Pippert; daughter, Laurie (Aaron Pospisil) St John of Walker; grandson, Derek (Alli); great granddaughter on the way; grandsons, Hunter, Skyler, Chase St John, Drake Pospisil; son, Chris (Pam) Pippert of Belle Plaine; grandson, Nick (Addie); great granddaughter on the way; grandson Weston Pippert; son, Scott (Heidi) Pippert of Elberon, grandchildren, Austin, Lexie Pippert; sister, Joyce (Louie) Lyon of Arizona; brothers, Ray (Dorothy), John, Paul, Steve (Karen) Pippert all of Dysart.

Loren is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marve Pippert.

Memorial Service is 1 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service with visitation starting at 11:30 a.m. Private family burial will take place at National Cemetery, Vining, IA.
