Richard W. Henry

Richard W. Henry, 71, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Per Richard's wishes, there will be no services. Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home is caring for Richard and his family.

Richard was born May 13, 1953, in Hammond, IN, the son of Jr Glenn and Geraldine (Rippel) Henry. He was a graduate of Washington High School, Vinton, where he was a member of the football and wrestling team. Richard was self-employed as a handyman and drywall installer.

Richard enjoyed farm life, collecting coins and anything related to Star Trek.

He is survived by his siblings: Denise Williams of Marshalltown, Arthur (Rosemarie) Henry of Wittmann, AZ, and Judy Henry of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Jeri Rippel; and twin brother, Timothy.
