Obituaries : Willow Ann Morris

It is with a saddened heart we announce the passing of our angel, Willow Ann Morris, who left us on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, at Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home, Vinton, with Chaplain Brian Reeves officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Willow was born on January 18, 2023, the daughter of Kat Smith, Mason Morgan, and Brandon Butler. Willow was bright, curious, spunky and sassy. She loved her truck trucks and flowers and all things colorful. Her favorite foods were spaghetti and brownies. She also loved going on walks. She never failed to make you giggle and brought a beam of light wherever she went.

Left to cherish Willow's memory are her parents: Kat, Mason, and Brandon; her aunts: Sabrina, Alia, Riley and Eden; her uncles: Tayten, Kevin, Dallas and Joseph; her cousins: Abel, Finnley, Jocelyn, Xander and Sawyer; grand-aunt, Josie; great-grandmother, Kimberly; and her grandparents: Donna Whaley, Johnnie Morris and Katie.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Janet Whaley; great-grandfather, Victor Whaley; grandmother, Holly Faulkner; and great-great-uncle, Kevin Smith.

A memorial fund has been established.
