Evelyn Frances Mack was born February 11, 1921 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Bohumil and Agnes Hodina. Evelyn married Everett Mack March 29, 1947 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale located in Nashua, Iowa.
Evelyn first spent her married life in Garrison and Vinton, Iowa moving to Fort Morgan, Colorado in 1961. Everett and Evelyn owned the Club Tap Room and the Friendly Tavern during the 1960s in Fort Morgan. Upon selling the bar business, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona where they bought and managed apartment complexes. Upon retirement, they lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Brush Colorado.
Evelyn passed away December 16, 2024 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, Colorado.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Everett, brothers Milo and Lester Hodina, and sister Anna Mae Horak all of Iowa. Also proceeding her in death was a nephew John Horak of Florida.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Dennis (Karol) Mack, grandson Brian Mack and great grandson Ryan Mack. Also surviving is her sister Lucille Netolicky, and nephews Tom Hodina, Bill (Phyllis) Hodina, Gary (Doris) Hodina, Steve Netolicky and Mark Horak all of Iowa.
It is requested that donations be made to Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, Colorado.
Graveside services will be held December 26th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., Riverside Cemetery, Fort Morgan, Colorado.
