Charles Allen Morrison, 80, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away February 16, 2025 at Sunny Hill Care Center, Tama, IA.

Charles was born December 9, 1944 to Daniel and Ruth (Struve) Morrison. Charles attended Belle Plaine High School. Following school, he worked various jobs around Tama County.

Charles enjoyed hunting in his youth and loved to fish, especially at his favorite place Holiday Lake. He cherished his time with family, he was proud and supportive of his children and grandchildren. He liked going to the races in Vinton and would help anyone he could.

He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Charles is survived by his children, Eugene (Renee) Morrison of Harker Heights, TX, Phillip (Theresa Buchholz) Morrison of Toledo; step-daughters, Christina Hoffman of Belle Plaine, Hawanda (David Sattler) Long of Kingman, AZ; grandchildren, Gwendolyn Andow, Brianna, Trevor, Marci and Erin Morrison, step-grandchildren, Tina Boss, Darren, Brian and Cody Long; sister, Ruth Ann Mikarobski of Shabbona, IL; along with many more family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Daniel Morrison and Ruth (Floyd) Villers; wife, Elaine; step-daughter, Gail Jones.

Funeral Service is 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2025 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine with visitation from 9-11:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Hill Side Cemetery, Cedar Falls, IA.
