Mark Allen McFarland passed away on June 8, 2025, at his home in Sugarland, Texas, following a battle with cancer for many years. Mark was born January 17, 1962, in Vinton, Iowa.

He loved to spend time with his grandkids and going fishing with his kids. He proudly served in the US Army for several years, and.worked for Royal Cup Coffee in Sugarland Texas..

He is survived by his wife Tammy (Lane); three sons Corey (Abigail), Jeremy and Tyler; three grandchildren Claire, Marshall, and Myles all of Texas; his mother JoAnn Meyer, Vinton; half brother Doug McFarland, Florida; sisters, Brenda (Randy) Kovatch, Marion and Shannon Wheeler (Alex Greif), Vinton; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim McFarland; father-in-law, Tom Lane;stepfather, Dick Meyer all from Vinton.
