Todd Lester Seiler, 64, of Evans, Colorado, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Todd was born December 16, 1960 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Ronald and Kay (Kaiser) Seiler. He attended Washington High School in Vinton, Iowa, graduating with the class of 1979. He went on to attend the University of Iowa.
For many years in the Vinton area Todd enjoyed working on cars and was employed at G&G Auto Parts. He later moved to Colorado where he owned his own business, Bison Woodworking, crafting custom pieces. After closing the business, Todd worked many years as a park technician for the City of Greeley. At Island Grove Park, he was a friendly face with a quick wit, and he was always ready for a conversation. He took great pride in grooming the arena. He spent time attending workshops, researching equipment, picking rocks, and "driving in circles" determined to make it a premier event site for the many horse shows and rodeos.
Long before he was an employee of the City of Greeley, Todd found his way to Island Grove Park. His desire to volunteer and lend a helping hand where he could had him joining the Greeley Stampede Wranglers, dedicating more than 25 years to the organization. As a Wrangler, Todd served many roles over the years and was awarded Wrangler of the Year and the Carl Hirsch award. Above the years of service and accomplishments, the Wranglers is where Todd met Rebecca “Becky” (Wiseman) Schneider, and they were married on September 12, 2015 at Island Grove Park. Together they enjoyed life, 'dancing in the kitchen'. Todd loved his kitchen gadgets, his sourdough starter and the endless search of the internet for a new recipe. He loved volunteering; Todd gave his time and talents to the Jaycees, Vinton Cruise Committee, Boy Scouts, Masons, Bingo for the school, Greeley Museum Board, Centennial Village and the Wranglers. His love became the Wranglers.
"Todd's World" kept his family and friends up to date on his shenanigans and worldly wisdom.
Most of all he loved his family. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by those he left behind.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Schneider-Seiler; his children, Ben (Bridget) Seiler of Vinton, Iowa, Amanda Seiler of Vinton, Iowa, Jeremiah (Tamara) Geffe of Urbandale, Iowa, Caleb (Christy) Seiler of Seattle, Washington, Hannah Jo Seiler of Denver, Colorado, and Jessie (Dan) Seiler of Denver, Colorado; his mother, Kay Seiler of Wiggins, Colorado; and his sisters, Terri (Jeff) Bahr of Garrison, Iowa and Carri (Scot) Brown of Wiggins, Colorado. Between Becky and Todd they had 16 grandchildren, 2 on the way, and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Seiler.
A Celebration of Life for Todd will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Greeley's Island Grove Arena, 501 N 14th Avenue, Gate 4. Per his wishes, he will have one final ride around the arena and a party to follow in the 4-H building. In honor of Todd, the family requests you come dressed casually, but that durags and flip flops be included in the dress code.
Interment at Hoyt Cemetery will be held at a later date for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to “The Stampede Foundation in Memory of Todd Seiler”, in care of Moser Funeral and Cremation Service, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620.
